On occasion, the witch finds themselves stuck in a bind. All too often people go about being hurtful and destructive and they either have no idea how their actions affect the people around them, or worse, they simply don’t care. In these situations, it’s common to turn to a curse or binding but those options can often seem unfulfilling, they don’t necessarily teach a lesson and it may not stop the offender from repeating the behavior on some new victim.
This hex serves as a solution to this problem. The purpose is to make the target feel the pain that they’ve inflicted on you and experience the guilt and remorse that is warranted by their actions.
You Will Need:
- Paper
- Something to write with
- A lighter or matches
Take your paper and write out all of the wrongdoings inflicted on you by your target. Go ahead and get emotional about it, write how it made you feel, why it was wrong, etc. Let your hurt and anger seep into your words. This is the force behind your hex, don’t hold back.
When you’re finished burn the pages. Please be sure to do this in a place that is fire safe and over a fire safe container. You’ll want to be sure you keep all of the ashes.
Once you’ve burned through your pages, gather your ashes and take them somewhere like a river or a small cliff where you can scatter them to be carried away by the water or wind. As you scatter them, cast the following enchantment.
“May you carry tenfold the wrong that you have wrought upon me,
May you know my pain and be burdened with it’s weight,
May you feel the grievances that you have burned upon my spirit.”
For this spell to work you must release your hurt and anger, you are sending them back to where they belong and if you continue to hang onto these feelings it will split your intention and weaken your spell. Lay your grievances to rest knowing that they will be plaguing the correct person from now on.
You may find that you need to repeat the spell a few times in order to fully release your emotions, especially if your troubles were sustained over a long period of time. There’s nothing wrong with taking this approach but be sure to give yourself adequate rest between sessions.
Upon completion, this spell can be followed with a binding or banishing spell to serve as an extra layer of protection between yourself and the person who hurt you.

Hello I love your work you are truly inspiring I’m a Balkin witch who loves meeting other strong women
Does it matter how much time is left in between burning the paper and scattering the ashes ?
My sister is always hurting me physically and emotionally and I really want to do this hex but I am in the broom closet and still live with my mother. Could I change this hex to where I could just rip the paper?
